About Us

On the 15th of March 1927 a community meeting was held and as a result the Flinders Park Methodist Church Football Club was born. The new team to the United Church Association's 'B' Division wore a chocolate and blue guernsey with blue knickers, and capped off their first season with a Premiership. Today, some 90 years since that meeting and with a rich history since, the Flinders Park Football Club continues to thrive as a football force in the Adelaide Football League and promote the sport of Australian Football in the inner Western suburbs.

In 2020 Flinders Park has senior A and B grade football teams competing in Division 3 and 3 Reserves of the Adelaide Footy League, C grade at C3 level, and a Senior Colts team competing in the Under 18.5 Red division as well as senior women's football in Division 4. We offer junior football at all levels of SANFL Juniors for boys as well as two girls teams at under 14 and under 16 level, and have one of the strongest junior administrations in metropolitan Adelaide.

Also part of the club are the Flinders Park Cricket Club competing in the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association's A1, B2 and LO2 levels with juniors in the Western Suburbs Junior Cricket Association.

In 2015 we were proud to establish our first Flinders Park netball teams competing in the South Australian United Church Netball Association right across the grades, and we have expanded at a rapid rate from the inaugural two winter teams in 2015 and now enter some seven senior teams for summer 2018/19 and four during winter 2020.
